HCVA Selected As Finalists In The Historic Motoring Awards 2023

We’re pleased to announce that the Historic and Classic Vehicles Alliance (HCVA) has been selected as a finalist in the Industry Supporter of the Year category, at The Historic Motoring Awards 2023, presented by Octane.

HCVA Chair, David Meek said,

“We’re delighted to be recognised by the esteemed panel for our continuing endeavours to support our thriving and dynamic industry. Since our inception two years ago, we’ve worked hard to make our name as Britain’s leading automotive trade organisation, known for advocating the preservation, promotion, and enjoyment of historic and classic vehicles. Supporting our sector is at the very heart of all we do.”

The news is particularly gratifying after a busy year of lobbying and campaigning by the Alliance.

Recording year-on-year growth, the HCVA has become an invaluable advocate for the industry and a beacon of support for enthusiasts and professionals alike.

By actively engaging with legislators, policymakers and stakeholders, we’ve successfully lobbied for sensible measures regarding historic vehicles within proposed regulation and continue to meet with government agencies, MPs, ministers and industry partners for the benefit of our sector.

Ongoing campaigns see the HCVA working tirelessly on behalf of, and in collaboration with its members to protect and preserve historically significant vehicles from unnecessary and restrictive government legislation while also making a significant impact on regulatory decisions to secure a strong future for the historic motoring industry.

Gaining support from an impressive roster of high-profile MPs, and shaping debate with the Transport Select Committee as well as the media, the Alliance is driving the agenda on key issues affecting it members.

Up against some tough competition, the winner of Industry Supporter of the Year will be decided upon by public vote and announced on the 15th November 2023.
