First episode of the all new Heritage Matters podcast now live

We are hugely excited to announce that the first episode of our all new Heritage Matters podcast is live now on all major platforms. You can take a listen here:

The podcast has been something that we’ve had in the works for a long time, the series takes a relaxed dive into the historic vehicle industry and some of the incredible people within it. We’ve built up a long list of amazing guests to chat to and we’re excited to share their stories, their enthusiasms and what makes them tick.

For the first episode we have a sit down with our Executive Director Guy Lachlan. We cover a range of interesting topics including his vast knowledge on sustainable fuels, his unique first car and his experience racing a 1914 Hall Scott Fafnir (10L aero engine) at Goodwood in his first ever competitive car race!

We will be releasing a new episode each month chatting to different guests who are all somewhat tied into the classic vehicle industry. We’ve got a wonderful list of people so please do tune in each month to hear their stories.

The series is hosted by our very own Paddy Coppinger in conjunction with TORQUEfreely. Paddy is a lifelong classic car nut and over the years he’s been fortunate enough to meet some extremely interesting people through his love for cars. The podcast is all about connecting with some of these people and sharing their stories, and we’ve also got a few silly questions lined up to keep the guests on their toes…

If you’re an HCVA member with an involvement in the industry and would like to chat to us for a future episode, please send us an email at team@hcva.co.uk
