HCVA hosts second Heritage Matters Insights Day

Following an extremely successful inaugural HCVA Heritage Matters Insight Day in October 2023, we are pleased to have followed it up with ‘Heritage Matters too’.

Over 100 industry experts and business leaders gathered at the Hagerty UK Clubhouse for the day of progress updates, industry insights and networking.

The theme of the day was co-operation, the idea that businesses can achieve much more by working together collaboratively. This idea can of course be applied to all industries but is particularly powerful in the classic vehicle sector.

Master of ceremonies was esteemed motoring journalist and commentator Guy Loveridge, he did a brilliant job of running the day, introducing speakers and ensuring we all ran to time!

The days agenda focused on five key areas as well as a keynote speech from Greg Smith MP.

Education and Skills:

Training is a two way street - Owain Johns, Heritage Skills Academy

An exciting year ahead - David Withers, StarterMotor Charity

Regulation and Policy:

DVLA progress discussion - Guy Lachlan, Paul Griffin and Greg Smith MP

Member Benefits:

Panel discussion of new member benefits - Andrew Goodacre (BIRA), Daniel Lewis (Wilmots Litigation), Paddy Coppinger (White Horse Telecom), Rupert Cobb (Gun Hill Studios).
