The power of partnership - Hagerty & Sustain by Coryton are fuelling the future together

We’re delighted to announce that two more HCVA members have seen the benefits of working together and our Founding Partner Hagerty have launched their sustainable fuel partnership with HCVA member Coryton - home of SUSTAIN.

SUSTAIN Classic is a bespoke, carefully-engineered fuel for classic cars, and embodies a commitment to both performance and environmental stewardship. An advanced second-generation biofuel, SUSTAIN is manufactured from agricultural waste - so there is no impact on the food chain. Safe to use in any engine that can use normal pump fuel, it is an excellent way to minimise environmental impacts whilst protecting your engine.

Launched at the 2024 Hagerty Hill Climb at Shelsley Walsh on the 11th May, the partnership will see SUSTAIN Classic fuel experts and SUSTAIN fuel available at the 2024 Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional in July, and at Hagerty’s RADwood UK event in September.

HCVA Chairman and Hagerty CEO Mark Roper said:

“Classic car owners want to make their vehicles as environmentally friendly as possible, but many have questions about the compatibility of sustainable fuels. As part of this new partnership, Hagerty offers drivers the chance to sample SUSTAIN Classic fuel, along with the opportunity to ask questions to the SUSTAIN experts at all of our 2024 main events.”

David Richardson, Business Development Director at Coryton, said:

“We’re delighted to be teaming up with Hagerty to showcase the power of sustainable fuels. In recent years we’ve seen a real rise in the public’s interest in our technology, with the appetite being particularly strong amongst vintage vehicle owners. With three Hagerty events on the horizon, we’ll be perfectly placed to share our passion for sustainable fuels with the classic car community and discuss the science behind this pioneering solution in more detail.”

If you’re keen to try SUSTAIN for yourself, then the first sustainable fuel pump in the UK is at Bicester Heritage, run by HCVA members Motor Spirit.
