The role
As a Restoration MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in the disassembly, restoration, and reassembly of classic Range Rovers, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and trim components are meticulously restored to the highest standards. This role requires a deep understanding of vehicle restoration, precision craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Disassembly & Inspection: Carefully strip down vehicles, documenting and tagging components for restoration or replacement.
Mechanical Restoration: Refurbish or replace engine, transmission, suspension, and braking components to OEM or upgraded specifications.
Electrical System Work: Rewire and install electrical components, ensuring fault-free operation of lighting, instrumentation, and modern upgrades.
Trim & Interior Fitting: Restore and refit dashboards, carpets, seats, and trim to an exceptional standard.
Chassis & Bodywork Preparation: Assist with the preparation and fitting of panels, ensuring proper alignment and structural integrity.
Component Testing & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring all systems function correctly before final assembly.
Collaboration: Work closely with paint, fabrication, and upholstery teams to ensure seamless restoration.
Quality Control: Conduct final inspections, road tests, and adjustments to ensure vehicles meet Kingsley’s high standards.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to workshop safety procedures, ensuring safe handling of tools, materials, and vehicles.

Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an MET Technician, Restoration Specialist, or similar role within classic or prestige vehicle restoration.
Strong knowledge of classic vehicle mechanics, electrics, and trim work.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and restoration plans - desired but not essential.
Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for automotive heritage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative restoration team.
Full UK driving licence.
